as i tried to lay here categorizing the day, i was reminded of the times in junior high confirmation class (and many other church classes) where we started the hour by doing "pows and wows", a relatively easy and quick way to focus on 1 great high light of the week, and 1 not so hot low light.
tonight is a pow and wow night i think.
(oh yah, pows = boo. wows = woo hoo!)
POWS of today
- i have a blister the size of rhode island....roughly.
- i got a nasty papercut, to which the kid standing in front of me heard the slice. and remarked "you know that's gonna hurt pretty bad soon, right?" (thanks kid.)
- i might have over-indulged in brownies. to be honest, i think i ate my weight in sugar.
WOW of today
- i had a good interview, i think.
- i got a call from CPS for an interview.
- i realized God's sense of humor is 1 in a million.
on that note, #2 WOW leads to one horribly large extra POW.
said interview with CPS is for a relocation position.
what are the odds that dream job = moving and leaving the safety net of my city?
did i mention God's sense of humor? yeah. priceless.
